I’m thrilled to announce an upcoming exhibition by the incredibly talented Nigerian artist, @kingdiah (Olorunyemi Kolapo Obadiah), titled *Nutopia - Beyond Skin Colour, What Defines Us?* The exhibition will be curated by artist, curator, writer, and founder of Agama Art Publishing, @susarodriguezgarrido (Susa Rodriguez-Garrido), bringing together a collection of powerful works that challenge perceptions of identity and future of our dream.

I am delighted to say that the opening of 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗬 exhibition at the DIDI Museum Lagos was a success! I am so grateful to the @didimuseum , Chiamaka and the @elbowroomnigeria participant artists and all the visitors, who loved and supported this exhibition. I was so honoured to have curated this exhibition and I am so proud to be representing these talented and incredible artists.

AGAMA ART PUBLISHING & AGENCY (www.agamaart.com) and DIDI Museum Lagos are delighted to present DECOLONIZING HISTORY: RECLAIMING NIGERIAN IDENTITY, an exhibition that showcases the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria while addressing negative stereotypes and misconceptions, and highlighting the contributions of Nigeria and Nigerians to the world economy.

The exhibition will take place on 17th to 24th June 2023 and will OPEN on Saturday 17th June at 4.00pm. It will consist of a selection of paintings by some members of the ELBOWROOM Art Movement, represented and curated by Susa R. Garrido at the wonderful DIDI Museum Lagos (175 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos).

Agama Art Publishing & Agency and Matrix Gallery would love to invite you to the opening of REMEMBER THIS FEELING, an exhibition of a series of sculptures that reflects on the philosophical theory of the mind and the body by Susa Rodriguez-Garrido, curated by @olorunyemikolapo

The opening will take place on 30th MARCH 2023 at 5.30pm at Matrix Gallery of Contemporary Art (directed by @openartexpo Muhammad Sulaiman), 12 Udi Hills Street, Off Aso Drive, Maitama, Abuja.

I would like to extend out special thanks to @iloanyaonyeka and @ezekwesilinnam for their invaluable support and contribution to this project. Also, thanks to @kaynankayphas for his help.

It was an honour to be invited to be one of the panel members @susarodriguezgarrido on Friday 10th February 2023 for the Creative Hustle event at the @cavicnigeria , organised by the @britishcouncil @ngbritish and the wonderful @philipagbese

The topic was Strategic Partnership for Fundraising Success. I enjoyed the conversation about this topic and the interaction with the audiences was engaging and interesting.

It was an amazing workshop The Art of Friendship, hard work but rewarding at the same time. The culmination was the auction of the two mater pieces titled Insight/Insite.

The workshop is from 30th January to 8th February 2023 from 5.00pm to 6.30pm (visitors only - daily except Saturday).
