Máis Alá do Obvio (Beyond the Obvious) by talented Nigerian artist Olorunyemi Kolapo is an exhibition of 11 paintings and 2 installations at Apo’strophe.arte Gallery in Vigo, Galicia, Spain, from 4th to 26th February 2022. It was brought to Vigo, Galicia, Spain, by the efforts of Susa Rodríguez-Garrido and her organisation, Agama Art Publishing & Agency, and the collaboration of Apo’strophe.arte Gallery (Sara Pérez-Bello and Álvaro Rodríguez). Thanks to the Spanish Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria, for making the visa procedures smoother.
It was a long journey, hard work, and many meetings to decide the concept of the exhibition, paperwork in Nigeria, which finally culminated in this magnificent and successful exhibition, in Vigo! You can have a look at Beyond the Obvious’s catalogue.
